About our Candles
Are your candles non-toxic?

Yes. Our candles are made with a natural coconut soy wax blend and premium fragrance oils that are phthalate-free, paraben-free, and cruelty-free. We use cotton wicks that are free from lead and zinc to ensure a clean, balanced burn.

Where are your candles made?

All Jing candles are hand-poured in small batches in the San Francisco Bay Area, California. Crafting our candles in small batches allows us to maintain quality, care, and attention to detail with every piece.

How long do your candles burn?

Burn time varies slightly depending on the scent and environment, but most Jing candles burn for approximately 50+ hours when properly cared for.

To maximize burn time, we recommend allowing the wax to melt evenly across the surface during the first burn.

How strong are your candles?

Our candles are designed to create a balanced fragrance experience. The scent should gently fill the room without feeling overwhelming, creating a calm atmosphere rather than an overpowering one.

How can I make my candles last longer?

To help your candle burn evenly and last longer:

• Trim the wick to about ¼ inch before each burn
• Allow the wax to melt across the entire surface during the first burn
• Avoid burning for more than 3–4 hours at a time

Following these simple steps helps prevent tunneling and extends the life of your candle.

Why is my candle sweating?

During warmer months, you may notice small beads of oil on the surface of your candle. This is completely natural and does not impact the quality or performance of the burn.

For best results, we recommend storing your candle in a cool, dry place away from heat and direct sunlight. If this occurs, simply blot the surface with a paper towel before lighting.

Candle Care & Safety

• Please trim wick to 1/4" for the best even burn and to avoid excess soot
• Allow the candles to burn until wax pool reaches the edge of the container to prevent wax tunneling (~4 hours)
• Do not burn candles with less than a 1/2" of wax remaining
• Never leave a candle unattended• Never burn a candle on or near anything that might catch fire
• Keep candles out of the reach of children and pets

Where do you ship from?

All orders are shipped from San Francisco Bay Area, CA.

Processing Time

Orders are typically processed within 1–7 business days. Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information.

Can I change my shipping address after placing an order?

Please double-check your shipping address before placing your order.

If you notice an error, contact us as soon as possible. If your order has not yet shipped, we will do our best to update the address.

Once an order has been shipped, we are unable to make changes.

If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, we can reship it (additional shipping fees apply) or issue a refund for the item.

What if my package is lost or missing?

Once your order has shipped, you will receive tracking details via email.

While we are not responsible for lost or stolen packages after they have been marked as delivered, we recommend tracking your shipment closely. For added security, you may choose a signature-required delivery option at checkout if available.

Warm Weather Shipping

During warmer months, candles may soften, sweat, or melt during transit, especially if left outside in direct sunlight.

Because candles are sensitive to temperature, shipping carriers and insurance do not cover heat-related damage once the package is in transit.

We recommend monitoring your tracking closely and bringing your package indoors as soon as it is delivered to help prevent heat exposure.
